His life revolves around music, from the moment I put my hands on a piano at the age of four to raising my kids in the most eclectic music environment possible today. Previous roles include Head of Music at BlackBerry and Head of Brand Activation at Sonos.

He now helps developing artists to improve their understanding of the music industry via Bridge The Gap MGMT, an artist management and label services business.

An MA Music Business graduate, who has a high level of expertise working within Drill, Afrobeats, Rap & Hip Hop Music. She is currently a Marketing Manager at Virgin Music UK (under Universal Music). As part of her current roster, she also looks after labels such as Mixtape Madness, LA based label – 10k Projects and working with LVRN (BRS Kash) on their artists. She has run marketing campaigns for some of the most exciting talent, which includes: Digga D, M1llionz, Rema, Potter Payper, K-Trap, Internet Money, iann dior, Ebhoni & more. Krish always brings her creativity to life with each individual marketing campaign, making sure it always leaves a statement. She has been part of key moments of breaking artists into the UK official singles charts for the first time with JAY1, Digga D, Potter Payper, US act Internet Money, which also went to No.1, as well as debut album chart entries for Potter Payper, M1llionz and Digga D. Before joining Virgin Music UK, as their first ever specialist of black music in the marketing department, Krish previously worked at places such as Warner Music, GRM Daily, and Soundcrash, where she also focused on working across black music as a specialist.

Started her career in the music business in 2012 as a website editor intern at the Sunday Show (best known helping breaking the careers of Mo Gilligan & Ed Sheeran). Then went on to work at Jump Off TV as a producer for their Jump Off Debates YouTube series (best known for kickstarting the podcast careers of Chuckie Online & Poet). After graduating with a Media & Communications degree from Goldsmiths University, has  worked part time as a PR & Social Media manager for nightlife brand Faded in its infancy, co-founded by Matthew Bridgeman & Tazer Black (member of the award winning 3 Shots of Tequila podcast). As well as short term internship placements at Relentless Records & 8lbs (music & brand partnership relationships).

Seeking a long-term role in the music industry,  found a role as an Events & Social Media Assistant at ILUVLIVE. From here learnt how to both event manage and assist on artist campaigns with their management roster & artist development programme. Leaving  my full-time role ILUVLIVE went on to complete a master’s degree in Music Business Management at the University of Westminster. While completing her degree, I became a freelancer doing social media management for ILUVLIVE, part time artist management assistant for the R&B artist/songwriter Shakka & social media management for R&B artist Dolapo on behalf of Virgin EMI and her manager Jackie Davidson.

 Once graduated,  got a job as a Junior Digital Marketing Manager at record label Marathon Artists, under their imprint MOVES Recordings. While there, was headhunted by the founders of new Sony Music imprint Dream Life Records to become their Product Manager. Left the role to set up the foundations of my business Hidden Courage in May 2021. As part of Hidden Courage, is running digital marketing campaigns for numerous artists & marketing management for ILUVLIVE for their artist development programme roster. Also co-manager of the rapper Jordy and manager of radio host/DJ Pharaoh.

Blackstar has the honour of working with a wide range of big-hitting artists from legends like Outkast, Def Leppard & Rage Against the Machine through to, Rag N Bone Man, Charli XCX, The War On Drugs and Years & Years who have come through the company’s shipping container complex in Brixton for support from Blackstar’s all-star team. She has previously worked in senior marketing & digital roles in the major label sector for some of the biggest artists in the world, including favourites Nine Inch Nails, Kae Tempest & Haim, as well as cutting her teeth in artist & producer management which she has a continued passion for. He has worked predominantly in music at Atlantic Records (Warner Music Group) and Columbia Records (Sony Music Entertainment), working on digital campaigns for some of the biggest artists in the world including Calvin Harris, Childish Gambino, Khalid, Kygo, The Streets and Plan B. Last year he joined DawBell as Associate Director for Social Media and in September headed up the social team for the comeback of ABBA, with the announcement of ‘ABBA Voyage’, the revolutionary concert residency which starts in May this year.

Currently the Artist Partnerships Manager at TikTok, connecting and looking after artists and opportunities for them on the leading entertainment platform. Parris navigated their way through the industry both independently and working for major companies such as RCA Records, Columbia Records, Sony Music UK, Abbey Road Studios and Wired PR. With the epicentre of what they do being explained as “completely artist focused and lead”, Parris has been an integral part of global artist campaigns and representing, curating and nurturing UK Black talent, spanning artists to execs.

Vanessa has an extensive and in-depth career past. from an internship at M&C Saatchi. to EMAP (now Bauer Media) where she worked across Music and Lifestyle press including Q, Mojo, Arena, Kerrang!, Smash Hits. The Face and Empire Magazine, and led commercial partnership with major and indie records labels, film studios and music retailers such as HMV and Virgin.

Vanessa joined Facebook Inc. prior to its listing on the Stock Exchange to lead Retail Sector partnerships, and in 2012, setting up the first Entertainment Vertical team where she continues to drive fundamental evolution and change as a Global Client Partner in how film and music industries globally market their releases and events on Facebook via the explosion of video consumption on mobile across Facebook and Instagram.

As technology leaps forward into a new world of advertising and experiences, Jane has been focussing predominantly on the Music industry, looking for ways to democratise creativity and build new ways for artists to interact with fans, from ways that are entirely possible now all the way into the Metaverse.
